How important is family?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints published the article "Families are central to God's Plan."
In that article, it said;
Families are central to God's plan for His children. They are the fundamental building block of strong societies. Families are where we can feel love and learn how to love others.
In contrast, another article, "Why Feminism wants to Dismantle the family." dive deeper into showcasing the true intention of the opposition. Here are two quotes from the article citing some prominent folks society celebrates.
Linda Gordon said, "the nuclear family must be destroyed… Whatever its ultimate meaning, the break-up of families now is an objectively revolutionary process."
Helen Sullinger said, "We must work to destroy [marriage]… The end of the institution of marriage is a necessary condition for the liberation of women. Therefore it is important for us to encourage women to leave their husbands and not to live individually with men… All of history must be rewritten in terms of the oppression of women.
They've said it; they mean it. Now, what are you going to do about it?
One thing that makes me unafraid to speak about topics relating to Feminism and the destruction of the family is that these folks aren't hiding their intentions.
They smear it on your faces in the news, movies, music, your favourite shows and in books.
When you resist, it becomes a problem.
One of my responses to this is that;
You can be whatever you want to be.
You can believe whatever you want.
But I beg of you, stay away from my family.
As a man, our role is to be active watchmen who do everything to prevent the thief from breaking into our homes and tearing us apart from the inside out.
I can't help but take us to the Bible, where something relating to this was said and spoken about.
John 10:10; Jesus said
The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.
You might wonder who the thief is?
Let's go back to Eden; in Genesis 2, God created man and told him not to eat from the tree of life. After a while, God saw man needed help mate. He made a beautiful, dazzling woman named Eve.
In Genesis 3, Eve had a conversation with the thief.
1. Now, the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
2. The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the Garden,
3. but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"
4. "You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman.
5. "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."
6. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
I got some questions.
Are there things that are pleasing to the eye today for women?
Do you find women desiring so much wisdom or promised extreme happiness and knowledge if only they do what society tells them to do?
In today's world, the fruit that Adam and Eve were warned not to eat comes in different forms, such as movies, music, friends, ideologies, beliefs etc.
Things that can corrupt their mind and their decisions and affect the constitution of the home.
It's not sexist to say that women are susceptible to some of these temptations. We've seen how society enjoys using emotional issues to spark their curiosity, trigger their fancy, get them interested in liberating topics, and sensitize them to ideologies that would hurt them in the long run.
Let's explore some of these ideas.
The idea of living without a man or being challenging and she will be happy or the idea of having multiple sexual partners since men are doing the same?
What is the outcome of that thus far? The truth is no one with multiple sexual partners is living a great life, not even the porn stars.
We hear the testimonies and the stories.
Studies find that being married improves your mental health. Market Watch published research findings in an article titled, "Married couples are happier than everyone else, especially in middle age." The article quoted;
Married couples rated their life satisfaction 9.9% higher than widows and widowers.
Married couples were 8.8% happier than higher than divorced or separated people.
The Devil, as we know, hates what God has created and will do anything to destroy it.
Renew.org published an article, "The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy." In that article, I quote.
The obvious way in Scripture that the Devil tries to steal is by stealing people away from God. By planting mistrust about God, the serpent could steal Eve's trust away from God. The result of Eve and Adam's sin was humanity's defection from living under God's authority to being resentful residents of "the dominion of darkness" (Col. 1:13).
Like a kidnapper luring a child away from his parents, the Devil "leads the whole world astray" (Rev. 12:9).
Pastor Bert from Athey Creek and I share the same view regarding how much men influence both the good and the bad things in the world.
I go by saying;
Women's problems are a result of men
Children's problems are a result of men
Men's problems are a result of themselves.
Sadly, many women have no idea they can be used as destructive tools. Think about it, the strip clubs, the porn, the hookers, and sugar babies, to name a few.
On the other hand, we can say men are the perpetrators and the ones leading the gangs, running the strip clubs, and acting as the pimp or the sugar daddy.
Many men have no idea what is happening. Their ignorance is fueling the problem.
The ignorance is either because the person who ought to act as a watchman is sleeping and doesn't care, or he isn't present in the picture.
It takes a man who understands his role as a watchman to act precisely in protecting and defending every woman around him, even in sensitive situations.
Women with good values and a great sense of morality are fully aware of what's happening.
This crazy lifestyle we see wasn't designed by God but by our hunger for the shinny, glittering life full of pleasures.
You might ask, what is the solution to all this?
Jesus is the answer. If you know him, he will influence your life decisions.
In my previous episode, Tribute to the fathers, I analyzed the importance of men in our society and in our lives.
We examined how God, our father exhibits those masculine traits we as men need to demonstrate.
He sets the standard that we need to follow here on earth.
Someone might ask, where was Adam when Eve got tempted?
Imagine for one minute you see your wife or partner speaking to a snake; how would you react?
Trust me; you'd run away with your heels touching your head.
In the real sense, the Devil is lurking around and excited to prey on those who are available or make themselves available.
While we might blame Eve for breaking God's rule, I blame Adam for not holding Eve accountable.
I blame Adam for not staying firm in his values and virtues.
I see some men who let their wives misbehave and are afraid to call them out. They permit some things thinking they will go away instead of addressing them.

These men allow their wives to hang out with some nasty friends thinking it will do them good.
Some men have no idea who their wife's friends are and the personality of these friends.
I am very watchful and mindful of who my wife associates with. To set the standard, I am also conscious of who I call a friend. She knows my friends and their influence on my life. She draws strength from that.
Leadership isn't just a title; it is an active role you play.
Now let's explore this question; who are the watchmen?
Every man is a watchman in the making. It is up to him to live up to the role or ignore it.
Ever wonder why women and children are taken to safety during the war while the men are asked to stay back, arm themselves up, and fight?
If we want to be fair, we can say women should stay back because of equality, but that doesn't make sense.
Women aren't wired to be men.
We are different, and it makes sense to be a man who fights to protect women and children.
Women enjoy being protected and cared for and, most significantly, watching their children taken care of.
Men are designed to be protectors, defenders, and warriors. Those muscular physiques aren't there for the grams and TikTok. They are there for protection.
Okay, good thing that most of us are not in a war-torn country. But are we still getting attacked? Yes, the Devil is attacking from all angles, especially in life's spiritual and intellectual areas.
These are the main areas of his operations.
Too bad some men are physically fit but intellectually dull. Spiritually retarded. This explains why they are easily overthrown and sent back to the suicidal lane.
The lane where mental illness is apparent.
A lane where excessive alcohol and drugs are the company they keep to make them feel manly.
To be an active watchman, you need to acquire the traits of a watchman.
Here are some traits you need to acquire to become an active watchman.
1. Don’t let the women in your life cause you to sin.
Let's go back to Eden, Geneis 3:8
8. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the Garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the Garden.
9But the Lord God called to the man, "Where are you?"
10He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."
11And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"
12The man said, "The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."
13Then the Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
Adam showed extreme foolishness by not staying true to his maker.
He disappointed God in all ways. We should learn from his mistake not to accept bad behaviour, disrespect, or false beliefs whenever we encounter such.
You are a man; you are in charge. I need you to repeat,
"I am in charge."
I completely control my life, home, and relationship, and I always lead it to the right place.
I will not give in to things that will cause my downfall.
My mum does tell me stories of how women caused the downfall of men. Also, we have seen in the Bible the story of Samson, who Dalilah betrayed.
Or Solomon, who married many wives that led him to sin. We can see that even the wisest man exhibited the most foolish choices.
You might ask, how can you avoid a situation like this?
2. Build your spirit:
You won't be able to sense evil from a mile away if your spirit isn't built.
Earlier I made mention men who are retarded in the spirit. They may be handsome-looking, well built, they may be celebrities, but they lack muscles in their spirit.
A healthy spirit will influence your choices as a man in your home, business and your community.
A healthy spirit will sense when something isn't right in your partner's attitude. You will be able to understand the root of the discomfort the more you ponder these thoughts.
You might figure out that your partner is in touch with a corrupt material, movie, friend or just information thats floating around the air.
The occult would submit themselves to evil spirits to take hold of them for inspiration.
We, as Christians, have the Holy Spirit who will lead us to all truth.
Thats why you need to build your spirit as you would build your muscles.
You can build your spirit by getting closer to God and studying the word of God.
Have time for devotion, and digest robust materials and teachings.

3. Build your self-control:
Lusting after things will only make you a weaker man than you will ever be.
Attaining self-control as a man is a great way to stay in tune with your utmost self, wherein you don't give in to crazy ideologies.
You stand firm on the standard and uphold your partner and friends based on these values.
4. Use God as your standard:
The farther men run away from God, the less likely of God they become. They become a god (small g) whose aim is to seek worship for themselves and rot in the idea of self-idolatry.
They get given over to their sin, which makes them rot in absolute spiritual poverty and weakness, precisely what the Devil wants.
Setting your eyes on the unmoveable God who is fixed and the firm has told us to be watchmen. He also said he is watching over us (Psalm 91).
He cannot watch over you if you don't build a relationship with him.
Building a relationship with God isn't a day's job but a lifetime walk that requires you to humble yourself and submit yourself to him so he can use you as the instrument of his peace.
Jame 4:8; Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.
The closer you get to God, the more you become like him. You will attain infinite wisdom beyond human reasoning and, above all, the strength to fight the good fight of faith and be the man your family and society need you to be.
Wrap up
God created you as a man by design and created women with intentionality. We need ourselves to be in a healthy standpoint physically, mentally, spiritually and intellectually to fulfil the Kingdom of God right here on earth.
